Historic Thatched Cottage with Hot Tub

The New Forest and surrounding towns are simply stunning. This historic part of Southern England is a far cry from your typical city hen do. It’s a destination that gives your celebration a classy and tranquil experience but also gives you the option to go loud as and when the occasion merits.

Naturally, you’ll want it as perfect and picturesque as possible and that’s where The Thatch New Forest hen do accommodation comes into its own. This historic **300-year-old thatched cottage** is situated in a beautiful rural setting and is a fantastic place to stay. The entire lodging can sleep eleven guests and there is ample parking for cars.

Location: Near Ringwood & Pubs

Nestled in the idyllic area near Poulner, a small village in the market town of **Ringwood**, this stunning hen party cottage is easy to reach by car. Ringwood is a bustling town with plenty of shops and a marketplace, with pubs and restaurants.

The Thatch is a short walk to two country pubs, a Tesco Express, a bakery (for morning bagels or croissants!) and an off-licence; so you should be able to stock up on supplies with no hassle at all.

If you have the time, there are three larger towns/cities worth visiting. **Salisbury** is a historical cathedral city about a thirty-minute drive away. Nearby **Southampton** is a vibrant port city with fantastic nightlife, and the famous **Bournemouth beaches** are less than a 40-minute drive away.

Old-World Charm & Inglenook Fireplace

Throughout most of the cottage, there is an essence of old-world charm, with low beams, lattice windows, and a gorgeous, very large **Inglenook Fireplace**. There is underfloor heating through the kitchen and diner, with these areas being the most modernised throughout the lodge.

The lounge has low beamed ceilings and comfortable soft furnishings which keep it looking cosy. This is where the lovely fireplace is. It sets the mood for the entire room and an Afternoon Tea served here would be the perfect activity for your bride-to-be.

Farmhouse Kitchen & Dining

This beautiful light space has everything you need for your stay. A traditional farmhouse sink adorns one side under the window and the room is bright and relaxed in its design. It is a very sociable area, with a dining table to seat everyone to the side.

There is a fridge you can keep fully stocked and all the crockery, plates, pans, and glassware you will need. There is also the usual kettle, microwave, and toaster all sat for easy access on the kitchen worktop.

Games Room

For those who enjoy some friendly competition, there’s also a **Games Room** with table tennis, darts, and a pool table to keep you entertained throughout your stay!

Flexible Sleeping for 11 Guests

There are six bedrooms with the following typical configuration:

Ground Floor:
Bedroom 1: Double bedroom with ensuite + TV
Bedroom 2: Single bedroom

First Floor:
Bedroom 3: King size bed (able to be divided into 2 x single beds) + TV
Bedroom 4: Double bedroom + TV
Bedroom 5: Double bedroom + TV
Bedroom 6: Twin bedroom + TV

The bathrooms are simple and elegant in style; with the master bedroom harbouring an ensuite with a large corner bath; perfect for the bride-to-be as she gets ready for the big night ahead.

Garden, BBQ & Hot Tub

There are delightful gardens to the front and the rear with a climbing frame and trampoline round one side. On the other side, the kitchen diner opens through patio doors to a charming decking area surrounded by rattan garden furniture.

It is a great little sun trap with some shade offered by the bordering trees. One step up sits the fabulous **Hot Tub**, beckoning you to indulge and gaze up at the night sky as you soak away in bubbles.
