When looking for a ‘getting away from it all’ type of hen weekend, the Pine Cottage certainly delivers the goods, situated in a small village near to the stunning Cotswolds, The Pine Cottage really is a retreat in all but name. Perfect for your hen weekends who want their celebration to be one away from the busy town and cityscapes of more traditional hen weekend destinations and promises to give your group plenty of togetherness to celebrate the hens last night of freedom. It’s rural nature doesn’t mean it has to be all peace, quiet and serenity, as the fantastic Pine Cottage can host an amazing selection of mobile activities, hens can enjoy the fabulous Drag academy or mobile pamper sessions. Location
The Pine Cottage is situated in a charming West Oxford village, close to the famous market town of Bampton being only 2 miles away. Hardcore fans of popular TV show, Downton Abbey may recognise certain parts of this picturesque town as the village scenes were all filmed here.
There are some other amazing things within reasonable driving distance which are sure to make your hen weekend a hit. The cottage is about 5 miles away from the excellent Cotswolds Wildlife Park and Gardens with its fantastic gardens, described as ‘theatre with plants’ these stunning gardens are well worth a visit on your Cotswolds hen weekend and enjoy any of the available food stalls within the park or perhaps take your own picnic and relax with a bottle of bubbly in this wonderful scenic area. The Park also has some amazing wildlife to see, including everything from a birds, mammals and primates, to reptiles, amphibians and bats, all in their expansive 160 acre site. it’s a great place to explore on your hen weekend in the Cotswolds.
For those mornings when you fancy a walk in the fresh air to wash away those cobwebs from the night before, the Thames Footpath is nearby giving you easy access to the countryside and if that’s not enough you are very close to the fabulous Cotswolds Area Of Natural Beauty (AONB) This famous National Park has many scattered Hamlets and Market Towns to explore and also has many scenic walks taking you by some of the famous landmarks of the area. It’s very popular with hen weekends and once there, you’ll see why. The Pine Cottage is a fantastic cottage in which to base your celebration.

Grounds & Conservatory
The outside area is covered so you can use it whatever the weather and has a high fence to ensure your hen weekend has maximum privacy. There is rattan style garden furniture for you to use and the state-of-the-art hot tub makes for the perfect addition to your weekend and the lighting adds to the party vibe.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
There are 5 spacious bedrooms within Pine Cottage sleeping up to 11 guests in comfort. Each bedroom comes with bedroom furniture to store some of your belongings and all bed linen and towels are provided so you can keep your luggage space for more important things! There are 4 bathrooms at the cottage ensuring there’s minimal waiting to get ready to go out or visit the little boys/girl’s room.
Lounge & Dining Area
The spacious open plan and lounge area is a great place for your hen weekend to relax. There are sofas to chill out on and the large stone clad feature fireplace makes for an atmospheric feature and it's also great for keeping cosy and warm on those cooler autumn and winter evenings. There’s also a TV to ensure your group don’t miss your favourite show.
The dining part has a dining table where you can all eat and play games together and the cabinet has an ice bucket and plenty of glassware for you to use throughout your stay. One of our most popular Cotswolds hen weekend activities is the immersive Murder Mystery, which sees professional actors come to the Pine Cottage and host a fantastic who done it mystery, it’s also the perfect space in which to enjoy the labours of one of our amazing private chefs, who can visit the property and whip up a delicious two or three course meal in a style of your choosing. Cotswolds hen parties may also want to add on a cheeky butler to serve then their food and host a variety of classic hen weekend games. The Dining area is the perfect venue!
Kitchen Area
The Pine Cottage has a fully equipped kitchen area, with all the white goods you’d expect for a weekend away. With a microwave, coffee machine, oven, hob and all important fridge. The low partition serves to keep things social as you can see over it into the lounge and dining area.
