The Garden Retreat is a palatial country manor house in a rural location, situated on the road between the towns of Rushden and Bedford.
This phenomenal hen party house has everything you could possibly want or need for a fantastic weekend away with your friends. With a **Hot Tub**, **Indoor Heated Swimming Pool**, and **Games Room**, The Garden Retreat is perfect for groups who want to really enjoy their stay at the property. Its location means it has easy access for those that fancy going out in town to either explore, grab a bite to eat or to dance the night away.
Location: Near Milton Keynes & Bedford
Bedford is only a short 4.5 miles away from the property making it an ideal place to pick up any essential supplies. Bedford is also a town worth exploring if you’re looking to do a bit of retail therapy. After dark, Bedford comes alive with a great selection of bars, restaurants, and nightclubs giving the members of your hen do the opportunity to party into the early hours.
If you want to explore a bigger city, **Milton Keynes** is only 19 miles away. There’s a thriving nightlife scene for those that want to party hard. It’s here that you’ll find a fantastic selection of activities with the Indoor Skiing and Snowboard Centre and the hilarious Indoor Skydiving. There's also plenty of other amazing activities to do in the city, like bottomless brunches, escape rooms, and cocktail making masterclasses.

The grounds of the Garden Retreat are everything your mind's eye tells you a manor house garden should look like. From the long gravel driveway with a roundabout at the end to the pristine lawn and well-looked-after border gardens, the sights when you pull up to the house are a sight to behold.
It would be easy to imagine a butler standing on top of the steps awaiting your arrival to open your car door! The Garden area features a large lawn area and a large patio which is the ideal place to laze around in the sun. There is plenty of garden furniture and barbecue facilities. There is also a beautiful **Lake** in the gardens which makes for a picturesque backdrop for any group photo.
Drawing Room with Snooker Table
When a house has a Drawing Room, you know that you’re looking at accommodation that oozes class. In this instance, the Drawing Room also has the pleasure of being the **Games Room**. This spacious room has a full-sized **Snooker Table** and a **Table Tennis** table for when you fancy a game.
It also doubles up as a fantastic space in which to enjoy any of our in-house activities. Choose from amazing options like Perfume Making, a Craft Session, Psychic Night, or your very own **Private Chef**.
Indoor Pool & Hot Tub Conservatory
The large purpose-built conservatory area is where you’ll find the **Indoor Heated Swimming Pool** and built-in state-of-the-art **Hot Tub**. Perfect for your hen do to relax and enjoy some top-of-the-range luxury. The conservatory allows plenty of light into the room and has large glass panels that allow you to look out over the patio area and gardens.
Kitchen, Dining & Bedrooms
As you can imagine, the kitchen comes fully equipped with all the white goods and cooking utensils you need for your celebration. The dining area is big enough for all of your group if you want to get together at mealtimes.
