Rural Coastal Retreat with Pool & Hot Tub
If you’re looking for a bit of sun, sea, and sand for your hen or stag do and are looking for something a little different, then a North Devon break may well fit the bill. The towns of the West Country have been popular staycation destinations for years, and the reasons are many.
You get a ‘better than average climate’, and the surrounding countryside and rugged coastline offer some fantastic opportunities to enjoy yourselves with activities such as Coasteering. Then there’s the beaches. The North Devon beaches are deep, which means there’s plenty of room to set up base and enjoy some time basking in the sun.
The Devon Hideaway is the perfect choice for your group. Being located close to the beaches, it also has some quality in-house features meaning you won’t be short of things to do. The **Hot Tub** and free-standing **Swimming Pool** are always a welcome addition to the facilities and give your group a fantastic opportunity to chill out and relax.
Location: Near Woolacombe & Westward Ho!
There are plenty of nearby towns to explore. The ever-popular town of **Bude** is only 20 miles away and you’re only 30 miles away from the popular coastal town of **Woolacombe**. Another nearby town worth a visit is the seaside town of **Westward Ho!**, a bustling little seaside town with a great selection of bars and restaurants.
For some refreshments close to the party house, there is a **Country Pub** only 150 yards away offering a good selection of ales, beers, and food.
If you’re feeling adventurous, there are two fantastic activity centres within driving distance offering hilarious activities ranging from a Total Wipeout style water assault course, High Ropes Course, Kayaking, Surfing, and the hilarious Inflatable Waterpark.
Farmhouse Kitchen & Dining
The large kitchen and dining area has been designed with groups in mind. The sizeable kitchen contains all the things you would need for the weekend with Toaster, kettle, washing machine, oven, and microwave. There is also a large **American Style Fridge Freezer** to store all your supplies and to keep your beers and wine cool.
The dining area has a dining table and chairs and there is a wall-mounted TV so even if you’re on cooking duty you won’t miss anything. There is also a double doorway leading to the well-kept outdoor area.
Lounge with Log Burner
The lounge area is the perfect social space, with enough sofa seating for your whole group. There is a **Log Burner** and wall-mounted TV for you to make use of.
The lounge area is a great social space and is large enough for you to enjoy any of our amazing in-house activities. Some of our most popular ones include a **Comedy Roast**, **Perfume Making**, or a **Murder Mystery Evening** featuring live actors.
4 En-Suite Bedrooms (Sleeps 12)
There are 4 bedrooms with the following configuration. All bed linens and towels are provided.
Bedroom 1 (Ground Floor): Twin beds and a single bed. En-suite shower room.
Bedroom 2: King Size bed and bunk bed. En-suite bathroom with large **2-person Jacuzzi Bath** and shower.
Bedroom 3: King bed plus en-suite shower room.
Bedroom 4: 3 x single beds (can be connected to make a super king and a single) with en-suite shower room.
Garden, Pool & Sports Field
Outside the Devon Hideaway you’ll find a well-manicured lawn area and enough garden furniture for your group. It’s in this outside area you’ll find the state-of-the-art **Hot Tub** and free-standing **Swimming Pool**, perfect for chilling or having an early morning dip!
Adjacent there’s also a large **Playing Field** where your group can enjoy a kick about using the goals that are set up, or you can take advantage of the barbecue to make the most of the summer evenings.
